Planning Permission

Artist's impression of Surrey Centre for Sport Guildford Borough Council has approved the plans for the Sports Complex on Manor Park. This brings us one step nearer to the modernisation of the University's sports facilities.

The University's development, sports and planning team has worked with the planning authority for nearly two years to develop the design of the Centre and we are very grateful to them for their input to what will be one of the most advanced sports complexes in higher education in Europe. Much still has to be done in planning, building and funding the project but this is a major step forward.
