Campaign Board member clinches gold in World Cup

Finishing six seconds clear of their rivals, Vicki Hansford was one of the mixed coxed four rowing for Great Britain in the inaugural World Cup race for adaptive rowers in Amsterdam where they won gold.
Sports Development Officer at the University of Surrey and Campaign Board member for the Surrey Centre for Sport Campaign, Vicki said that “I think it’s a sign of things to come because there is so much more we can achieve”.
The team consisting of Vicki, Naomi Riches, Alistair McKean and Alan Crowther and cox Tamsin Cottle will be defending their world champion title in Munich later this summer which is also a qualifier for the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing.
